LB 371 update 12/12/07

Hello Fellow POAN members,

Here is the news regarding the retirement bill LB 371. There will be a Legislative Retirement Committee Hearing in Lincoln on December 14, 2007 at 1:30PM....at the State Capitol Building. If possible it would be a good showing for any Officers attending the hearing, to wear their uniforms.   If that is not possible please know you are invited as well..no matter what the dress... I know this is short notice but things have moved very quickly..and the Actuary study is finished and will be turned over to the Senators at that time by the Company that did the Actuary Study.. There will also be testimony from the Actuary person that was in charge of the study as well.. If you could please get the word out regarding the hearing date and time...and should anyone from your department plan on attending please let me know how many so I and Andy Backman might have an idea on numbers...if possible?  Any other questions please let me know and thanks for your help and time.
